About the Race

 

WHO:

Race To Anyplace is open to everyone over the age of 16 who is in physical condition to participate in at least 15 minutes of stationary cycling.

WHAT:

Race To Anyplace is a stationary cycling competition and fundraising event for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Teams of up to 12 members each will ride stationary bicycles for a total of six hours, with each member of the team riding for a minimum of two 15-minute heats.

WHERE: 

The event will take place at the Mason Community Center at ___ Mason Montgomery Rd., Mason OH 45040 

WHEN:

March 5th.  Registration begins at 7:00am.  The race begins at 8:00am. 

WHY:   

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, LLS has invested more than $600 million in research specifically targeting leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Events like Race To Anyplace help to fund LLS's research initiatives, patient services and education programs. We are extremely grateful to our many generous donors, participants and sponsors who made it all possible.

HOW:

Register your team or register individually by February 25th.  All registered participants will receive a Race to Anyplace t-shirt and water bottle.  For help with fundraising, see some Fundraising Tips  to help you reach your goal.
